why waste is a circular collection concept inspired by the EU textile strategy, aiming for a more sustainable fashion industry.
The concept rejects the industry’s massive overproduction and exclusively designs and produces from textile waste sources from a production facility in Portugal called Win-Win Textiles.
Through a material driven design process I work in the field between waste and value, challenging our perception when something is considered as waste.
